Optical Delay Lines

The Optical Delay Lines (Michelson echelons) are designed as stepwise assemblies of plane-parallel plates from quartz glass of either equal (Type I) or various (Type II) thickness. They are used in picosecond spectrometers to provide fixed or changeable delays of laser beams.
